There's no option to change the gas pressure but at idle is 1.2bar

I guess raising the pressure would be a good place to start - can you recommend the sort of value it should be?

I'm running a Bigas system on my 2.0T Z20LET-engined Astra, with the Bigas double reducer and black injector rail. I have also fitted the OMVL XXI-N ECU.

Tried new switch to no avail. Also disconnected sensors etc one by one to see if the petrol LED would go out with the ignition off, but no joy.

Wiring still checks out ok so now looking at replacing ECU

Thanks for the replies. Came out this morning and petrol LED was still on. I checked power/fuse/earths etc and everything was as it should be.

The laptop connects to the ECU when the switch is disconnected, albeit with everything set to default and no option to change anything.

Not a problem as such, but this is the second LPG car I've owned and notice they both have had white powdery stuff all over the inside of the exhaust.

What is it and what causes this?

Yeah sounds that way after doing some more searching... seems to be expected with multiple tanks but did have me worried!

If it helps, I have some "Faro Italy" 8mm Polypipe from Tinley. It has DN6 printed on the side and the ID is approx 6mm.

Can anyone recommend someone who can sort out the map on a Bigas system?

The car runs ok on gas but I need someone who can fine tune it properly.

Preferably near the West Midlands or North West, or anywhere near the M6 in between.

Had another go at this today and it definitely wasn't happy at 1.4bar, it gave all the above symptoms of pressure too high. Turned it down to 1.1bar and it's smooth again.

I maybe should have said I have a RI-21 double reducer, both outlets going into one injector rail. My thoughts are maybe if it ...

It was 1.0 bar to start with but I turned it up to 1.4 bar because my instructions said it should be between 1.3-1.6 bar for turbo engines. No real logic behind my choice.

Thanks for all the advice, yes it's a toroidal tank. I shall have a look when the weather picks up
