Those are both AEB 025 map sensors, they work pretty much the same but have a standard 4 wire connector. I've never rigged one of those to run on a 3 wire setup so not actually sure how you could change the wiring to suit your system?

Actually, I think at the bottom of picture 5 I can see the end of the pressure pipe from the rail that would have gone to the MAP/Pressure sensor, looks like those loose wires are the remaining tails from where the MAP sensor has been cut off.
I would guess it has been cut off and kept by someone ...

You state your Transit is the 2.3 therefore it will be the Necam system that is fitted so there is no pump on that system (unless you have the very rare 2.3 with the Vialle system of which I have only ever seen 2 that were made between 2000 and 2006)

Well my calculations are-
I average 1500 miles a week.

LPG Connect -- 1500 miles @ 22mpg, 309 litres at 70p per litre £216
VW Caddy -- 1500 miles @ 40mpg, 170 litres at £1.38 per litre £235

The figures could be made to swing even more in the LPG's favour as I can get LPG for around 65p per litre ...

As gilbert says make sure you have 12v feed at the emulators when it is switched to gas, you will have 2 emulators, one for each bank of 4.
They will both have a blue wire for the 12v feed and a black wire for the earth, if either the earth or the 12v is damaged then you will still be firing ...
