That's because there are so few stations in Sussex. I'm 11 miles from the one at the end of the A23. The nearest to home is 9 miles to the west and 17 miles to the north. I'm based in Worthing. There used to be one in Shoreham and one in Lewes- both gone now.

I also had problem 1 until i learned the trick round it. The normal filler has two little pins that stick out sides horizontally. On mine the pins are vertical, so i put the trigger types nozzles on so the handle is sticking out backwards rather than downwards. Once I learnt that it was plain sailing.

i was in Hastings today and ran out of gas before reaching the Q8/BP station. Where is it please? Since Feb, when i got this car, i have never paid less than 42.9 so i'd be interested in knowing where the cheap one was.
