Same shell.
720 fits with fairly mild persuasion. 270 will lift the boot floor. Stako valve boxes stick up above tank level further still; I was annoyed by this!
S/H tank off fleabay? Plenty of P38s with compatible tanks heading to the wrecker at the minute...

A photo of where you run those pipes Simon? You would never run a pipe between the supercharger and rocker covers.
Supercharger is in the centre. Outboard of these are intake manifolds. (short stubby affairs that the fuel rail is mounted in) Above the intake manifolds are the plenum chambers ...

8,000 miles in and it's averaging about 17 mpg or about 17p/mile at FloGas prices. Nothing much to report other than petrol use in winter on short journeys of ~10% with changeover set to 30C.

Re: What is the best lpg kit?
AC Stag ECU are more capable than the AEB ECUs and far easier to setup IME. Prices, in spite of what UK might suggest, are almost identical between Stag and AEB kit. Having tried both Stag and AEB, I'd go with the Stag.

Re: one for installers- is it ok to cable tie injectors?
Vapour pipes for injection systems are "high pressure" according to COP11 are they not? (strictly speaking - they are over 0.2 bar) Therefore same rules as the hard pipes.
Plastic cable ties are ok for cables in low temp areas. Most are made of nylon and the glass transition temperature for nylon ...

Re: Town gas cng ?
Pressure is low - nominally 21 mbar (0.021 bar) - and the capacity depends on the meter installed.
A "typical" meter fed from a "typical" low pressure supply is limited to ~64 kW. That's heat output, not engine output. Assume 20-25% efficiency for your generator so that supply might run a 12-15 kW ...

I'm running parallel.
Gas as below on mine. Balancer pipe is after the pressure/temperature sender as it has a smaller bore (10 mm) than the filters/tees (11 mm) or the pipe (12 mm). A 6 mm balance pipe would be plenty if the fuel rails had 6 mm outputs spare. Alternative layouts are suggested on ...

You can fiddle with all of the above annoyances to your heart's content on the 300+/ISA2 ECU. The "Premium" option with OBD is £20 or so more, if you want yet more things to look at and the Supra supports it. Some screenshots in the Daimler Super V8 thread in the "tell us your story" section.

Most of the suggestions relate to longevity and cold climate performance .. "you ain't qualified to comment on those yet"
True... ...however:
There would appear to be many PRINS and BRC installs that flout all the "rules" (upside downs and horizontals) without appearing to cause longevity ...

The Type Approval is absolutely invalidated. It may well be if a testable item is modified but when is Type Approval checked? At registration and never again after.

They checked with VOSA and were told that if the work was done prior to it being registered, it would invalidate the type approval so it would not be possible to register it but what you do once it has been registered doesn't.

If you touch a monocoque (even with a self tapper) or interfere with the OE fuel system in any shape or form (splicing wires) then you render the approval null and void. Technically.

From a simple read through it appears that it's a case of putting 2 and 2 together and making 76.
