Any reasonably priced LPG in and around Brighton???

#1 Post by martinh2004 »

Hi
Does anybody know of alternatives to the BP garages in Brighton. Surely it must be possible to find gas cheaper than 68.9p / ltr. I know someone paying 49p/ltr in Merseyside... not much use to me though in Sussex.

If you do a search on here http://www.lpgmap.co.uk/map.php and zoom out, it shows quite a number including a Calor centre in Shoreham.
96 Saab 900XS, AEB Leo, sold
93 Range Rover 4.2LSE, Lovato LovEco, sold
97 Range Rover 4.0SE, multipoint, sold
98 Ex-Police Range Rover 4.0, AEB Leo, daily motor
96 Range Rover 4.6HSE Ascot, AEB Leo, my spare

Thanks for that web link.
Unfortunately. like most of the web searches I have done, it is terribly out of date. The only ones left who actually sell lpg are the big boys, Shell and BP, both very expensive.
Any persnal knowledge would be very helpful.

Cheers

nothing cheap round here. That Calor filling place stopping filling cars over 5 years ago

The BP place you mention has a loyalty scheme with savings from 1p to 10p/litre as your card fills up. Send your pretty misses in to fill up and the fellas fill the card to the higher savings quickly.

I drive lots for work so mostly fill up away from the area

That is a classic example Not sold Auto-gas for 5 years and yet still listed .

We do need better information on the cheaper places to fill-up.
I know I have to travel south shortly and would appreciate being able to plan where to take on fuel.
My list has nothing for the southern area at all .
So if you can help please send me a PM and I will share the information for the benefit of everyone that can be bothered to look.
It is not going to make your favorite sites run out I am sure.
Thanks Patrick
