LPGMAP downloads and website updated 28/10

#1 Post by lpgmap »

Hi All,

The LPG overlays on the LPGMAP website have been updated today 28th Oct. Along with some new stations, the database has had stations deleted which we believe no longer exist.
The TomTom download now works with ALL TomTom software.
Also, the 'Find an LPG station' now works with both Postcodes and Town names. It has been enabled with both road maps, and satellite maps.
The Mailing list is now live, in which you can now subscribe to be notified of new overlay updates, and there is also now a route to feedback any comments you have.
The journey planner is still being written, and we are still in the process of updating the interface to feedback corrections/deletions easily into the map, until this is finished please use the comments form.
Please let us know if you have any problems using the map function.

Regards

Nik Aves
www.lpgmap.co.uk

Hi there,

Excellent map info by the way.

Couple of updates for you:
Shell Oakland Park in Bishop's Stortford no longer sells LPG, found that out this weekend.

If you search on Bracknell it comes up with 2 results, this one isn't valid:
Shell - Queenborough
Queenborough, Isle of Sheppey, Kent
ME12 3EW
Phone - 01795 663133 - Opening Hours - 24 hrs / 7 days - Credit Cards - Yes

Keep up the good work.

Regards

Andy

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this question - still learning here ... :(

I was sent to the lpgmap.co.uk site by the same friend that sent me to this site !! (you can all blame him now...), in order to download the POI database for my Tomtom satnav. However it seems the latest POI there is dated December 2006 ... which seems a tad out-of-date.

Is there anywhere else I can get a TomTom database ?? Also is there such a database for France anywhere ??

Regards and thanks for all the help ... :)

Hi,

www.pocketgps.co.uk is a good place for POI files and they have a fairly accurate one for LPG.

You can pay for one from http://www.go-autogas.com/ they also do a good map for the car too.
