well , lets be honest , if you owned a house worth £100k , and the value doubled to £200K , would you sell it for £100k? so I suppose we shouldn't criticise oil companies for doing the same thing ; damians figures show the market price up by the thick end of 6p/litre...wonder what happened the last 2 months!!!

I know my local (Tory) MP quite well and David Cameron too, for that matter. I should be happy to contact either or both but I should need a rough draft, at least of the arguments. I also have a former colleague now working in the PM's private office, God forgive him. Would not Christopher Booker on The Sunday Telegraph be interested? LPG remains 40.9 at Total Hungerford. Ironically, earlierin the week, they had run out of petrol but the LPG was still flowing. Do Tesco, Sainsbury etc. sell LPG anywhere? And what proportion of Morrisons stores sell it - I haven't found one so far?

just been having a look at natural gas prices in the market ; as no doubt you all know , some two thirds of our lpg is now produced by processing the gas from oil wells rather than as a by product of oil refineries suffice it to say that prices are up over 50% in 2005 , so our increase at the lpg pump are hardly surprising
