Keele services M6 southbound.

#1 Post by PaulD1963 »

I've just noticed on Fill LPG that the price for gas at Keele was updated just today to 65p a litre!

Can this be true? That would make it pretty much the cheapest gas in the country, and at a motorway services. I'm finding it hard to believe, and the last time I filled up at Keele, it was £1 a litre not so long ago, so it seems highly unlikely that it would suddenly drop by a third!

Can anyone confirm this?

Shown as 64.9p on autogas.app, updated today and also on mylpg.eu updated yesterday. So either someone is updating the prices everywhere because they can, or it really is the cheapest anywhere.

The other thing I notice especially on filllpg site is, people who can't do basic maths. The moment the price goes above 99.9p per litre it seems to throw them and put things like 12.9p where it should be 129.9p. I find generations who gone through decimalisation, who's dealt with Pound, Shilling and Pence cope well with figures, but somewhere along the line, the generation after that can't even cope with the fact that there is 100p in a Pound which is really worrying. No wonder they are easily manipulated by politicians.
