DIY Bluetooth Adapter

Some of you might be interesting in this. I've found it long time ago but had no time to do it until last week.
Works fine with my LpgTech and any other LPG make.
Total cost less than 10 quid... All you need is voltage regulator (LM7805), bluetooth module (Arduino HC-06, HC-07) and couple of plugs for whatever ecu you've got.

Goes to show how simple and cheap it can be. The prices for the off the shelf Bluetooth interfaces is a joke

Ive ordered an Arduino, voltage regulator and box. Should have a connector lying around the garage.

I'll report back in a few days time with what I've blown up .. err I mean how well it went

I considered using one of those Bluetooth modules so I didn't need to get the cable out every time I wanted to check things. The downside I found was that the Bluetooth adapter in my laptop only wants to be COM 6 or 11 and a lot of LPG software will only work if connected on COM 1.

You can reasign the COM port numbers on the PC.

You have to be careful, it's very easy to blow that board , remember about polarity!!!

Most of ecu has standard port settings so it shouldn't be a problem with connection.
For some you have to change baud rate and partity.

Box and power regulator have arrived, waiting for the Arduino.

Box is a little bigger than I imagined it to be, lol.

It will do for now though, if it works well I'll get a better size one for it.
