Registering the car with the DVLA

Hi there,

Not long joined and just had our Subaru Forester converted by Tubbs to LPG and was just wondering if you need to send any supporting documents with your log book to have the car registered as a duel fuel car? We already had 2 cars that run on gas but never bothered as you had to go in to the local office to do it which is over 30 Miles away. Everything has to go to Swansea now and we need to send the documents away to have our private plate put on the car anyway.

Any help is appreciated.

When I tried to get the V5 on my Saab changed, I was told that they needed to see either a certificate or an invoice from the installer.

Yeah have sent the invoice away today along with the documents.
