Which Kit

#1 Post by Ibby »

Hi guys,

been looking at making my Aristo a daily driver, and will probably fit the kit my self.
Its a twin turbo unit with 400HP (2j-gte)

Can anyone recommend me a kit to fit ?

thanks

Magic jets will do 75hp a cylinder. But I don't think it would nessicarily be hp per cylinder, more injector pulse duration and gas pressure.

Magic jets with the nozzles removed, or high flow hana, king ecu. Might be looking at 2 zavoli zeta s or omvl dream mp max flow. Bigas twin or a 2 cpr's back to back one for each bank maybe ?

Thanks,

so let me get this right

I obviously need ;
6 injectors (2x 3 injectors on separate rails) - Majic jets or HF Hanas (which are better) ?
2 Evaporators , 3 injectors are wired to 1 evap.
1x ecu (king) not heard of this brand before are they good ?

are the wiring looms plug and play ?

King is an AEB ecu, with a miriad of injector types to choose from. Magic jets are good. Not overly sure about hana myself. You may get away with one vap. But you never know. 66hp a cylinder. Magics are rated to 75 so a bit of headroom.
No the wiring looms arnet plug and play, solder and cut. But you can buy injector looms seperately from tinley tech, but you need to know if they are standard or inverted plugs...

400BHP is not much from 6 cyls but you will need good kit.

Injectors I would go with Europegas A+ or you could use magic jets

Vapouriser I would fit a modified OMVL HP reducer. If you don't want the mod then the Prins reducer is about the only other one that will run high enough pressure.

ECU the King would get the job done but the Europegas and some other will drive the injectors to a lower time at idle.

That should see you ok upto around 500BHP

and one thing not mentioned. High power engines at this sort of level need a 4 hole tank with BFC valve. If not then two single hole tank will do and 8mm feed pipe.

Good point about the tank and valve.
