It's not a particularly common system so you might be struggling.

Yep, I have been told that few times

But it died and I need someone with parts to it, software and plug/connector.

By the way: The socket to connect laptop is normally in this "box" next to cars battery ?

No idea. We don't know where the installer chose to fit the ECU and, unless someone that is familiar with your system comes along, we don't know if the programming socket is in the box, on the box or on a flying lead from the box.

Thanks... I really don't want to go to those who installed it. They messaed up the job completly. They wired into the engine block in wrong place and under wrong angle. Lots of problems with this instllation now. It seems that they are only ones who can service it and they are pricy! After calling this garage in coventry few times I am under the impression that they have choosen the most unpopular installation that they will be only able to service... a great recipe on how to be "a fake expert".

WTV (http://www.wtv-uk.co.uk/) do leads (USB and serial) along with the software for the Stefanelli system. That will give you a good start at looking into it yourself. Depending on what parts are needed they may not be unique.

Hi guys in Chesterfield ,Just Cars Chesterfield can do for you service and they stock spares for it as well.
connector for laptop is directly on ECU so look for ECU and plug in directly to it.
Ring Alternative Fuel Company in Barking, they may help to.

WTV said that I need a "loop". Nobody can find the socket for it because I have 16 pins and socket has only 4.
This is his answer:

"on the ecu you have a spare socket with pins! this should have
a plug in it i.e. loom,, the loom should be connected to the lambda sensor
on the engine (lazy installer) it also has the 4 pin interface plug on
it"

That's how my plug look likes:

Could you help me understand what he said above ? I don't want to overuse his patience :)

As I read it, there should be a plug attached to that 16 pin socket. Coming from the plug will be a wiring loom that will have the wire to connect to your lambda sensor and a dangling 4 way socket to plug your programming interface into. His comment regarding lazy installer is because the lambda sensor connection has not been made on your install. It isn't needed by the LPG system but, if connected, will show the lambda sensor output on your computer screen when you are connected. Makes life much easier while you are faulting if you can see what the lambda is doing while you fiddle.

What we need now is somebody with the same system as you that can tell us which 4 pins out of those 16 go to the interface plug.......

Thank you for heping.

I have posted a question if somebody has got SIS+ in their car. I really don't want to go to installer who put it. They offered to provide loom and socket/cable and software but for over £50. I have a feeling that I will throw this money away... just to find out that whole installation is messed up and that I need to redo all.

- Do you have any other ideas how to get there ? Maybe this is a standard loom that can be bought from LPG installers ?

I have found this and it looks interesting:

Also, this is what I managed to find and it explains my installation (.pdf file)

Interesting but not relevant to you I'm afraid. That is talking about the latest generation AEB controllers that can be connected to the OBD on the car to fine tune the LPG system.

The wiring looms on each LPG controller vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and, in many cases, from model to model. Yours won't be common to anything else other than another Stefanelli system of the same model. If you can get hold of, or even get a look at the loom, it should be very easy to see which of the 16 pins are used for the diagnostics.

There's a picture of the sub-loom in this overview
http://www.gasfahrzeuge.org/techn_anlei ... PLUS-1.pdf
not enough detail to make one though

This may suit, but I'm not convinced; SIS may not be the same as SIS+ here
http://nagaz24.pl/sis-citypro-interface ... ,p,en.html

Here's the software and USB lead
http://www.autogasetneo.be/en/webshop/a ... i-atw/2755
but it'll be useless without the sub-loom

Looks to me like the second one is to convert the existing 4 pin interface connector to the later Supaseal connector. Presumably so you can use a later interface cable?

I went there (to Just Cars Chesterfield) yesterday. It was a long ride (over 150 miles one way for me!) but they promised that if they won't be able to fix it they will give me replacement car.

Brilliant guys! I had bit of problem finding because their name is written as JCC , but soon I realised it stands for Just Cars Chesterfield. Half of the region comes to them! They are busy all the time, but dealt with me promptly.

Amazing and knowledgeable mechanics - not only LPG. They had socket for Stefanelli and fixed it. So if anyone needs help or diagnostics for Stefanelli SIS (SIS+ and other Stefanelli) this is the place to go. Their boss has been officially trained by Stefanelli Group and is currently training others. JCC is also (only?) authorised Stefanelli installer in UK. They have all parts for Stefanelli there so I managed to have all done in one day and received great service.

Thank you LPGTECH, you saved my *** quite literally :-) I own you a beer!
