They can but your insurers may want to see a certificate if it is an existing install or for the car to be on the DriveLPG database if a new one. DVLA will accept a car oin the database but used to accept an invoice from the installer. Whether they still do or not I have no idea. I tried to notify DVLA of a change of fuel type (as you are required to do) using a safety test certificate issued by an LPG installer but they wouldn't accept that as they said it had to be from the original installer. The system had been installed many years previously and who had installed it in the first place nobody knew so it stayed on the V5 as fuel type petrol.

this can be one more way for garages charging money for not existing problems because every different garage founding different things ,,,whe know how some garages checking cars for mot, last year i put my fathers old renault espace left hand drive 1994 thru mot,and they found lots of corrosion on the car, but espace made from fiberglass.... and i understand that in english garage even fiberglass rust :oops: ..... and after nice talk with manager i dont pay for mot...

Here you go again. I've already pointed out to you that the structural components on an Espace are steel and rust just the same as anything else. Only the outer panels are GRP. Would you like to see the photographs I took when I visited the factory?

they say not suspension, the cars body rusted,,,only fuel cap is made from metal

and the body is made of steel, and rusts quite badly. Only the outer body panels, wings, doors, etc are GRP, you can take them off if you like and still drive the car.
