Bulk LPG

I'm hoping not to sound stupid here. I recently had my car converted and would llike to know if you can purchase LPG in bulk. By this I mean can I keep a large cylinder of LPG at home and fill the car up direct from it. I presume some company would refill this cylinder when needed and since I would be purchasing much larger amounts of LPG at one time compared to a forecourt it would be cheaper.

In theory you can but in practice it's not likely to work unless you can move loads of it.
There are lots of regulations to comply with regarding tank positon, age, crash protection, electrical connections etc.
You probably wont move enough LPG without a fleet of cars to make any of the suppliers help you.

if u paid for your own tank and pump yourself, you could probably get someone to fill your tank as needed. A bit like people who use propane for heating as they have no gas supply.
