LPGMAP Re-launched with new downloads

#1 Post by lpgmap »

Hi All,

After a 3 year silence, LPGMAP (www.lpgmap.co.uk) has now been relaunched. LPG station downloads are now available for Autoroute (axe & csv), garmin (gbd & csv), TomTom Navigator & Destinator 3. hopefully TomTom ONE and GO hardware will be supported within the next couple of weeks.
The data will now be updated once a month.
For those of you already familiar with LPGMAP, please can I ask you to continue feeding back corrections to the database, whether it be new stations, deleted stations, corrected Latitude/Lonitude or any other corrections. Remember, the database is more useful, the more acurate it is. The data includes all the information from the guys and gals at www.lpga.co.uk (or boostlpg.co.uk as it is now known), and the most important thing... it is still FREE!!
The new website is currently undergoing some major changes to include online station location using google road maps/satellite maps, journey planner, and correction feedback. Please bare with us will the website is improved. Data downloads, are however, already available!!

Let me know of any problems

Regards

Nik Aves
www.lpgmap.co.uk

Crikey it has been a long time.... 3 years.

welcome back to the world of the living. I just entered my post code and got Cheadle as the nearest station, Stoke !!! I live near hastings, I think Calais is nearer. Some tweaking required I think ;)

Damian

Hi,

My appologies, I forgot to mention, the Postcode search is being worked on as we speak! It's been worked on for the last 3 days solid, and trying to incorporate it into google maps is.... a bit trying! Like I said, bare with us.... :-)

Regards

Nik

I tried to put in a few postcodes and came back with a locator near Cheadle, I am in Crieff, when I clicked on the locator it came up with the postcode entered is not recognised. Does it need the exact postcode of the filling station? Also the station I regularly have been using for over a year now is not showing and I cannot find a way of sending feedback via the site. it does look promising though.

Ian
