Any LPG tuners with a rolling road near Berkshire?

#1 Post by richy_boy »

As the title really... I'm very keen to get my car mapped properly for both fuel and ignition timing.

My car: Nissan 200sx 2.0 (modified ~280bhp)
LPG system: BRC Sequent Fast

What work needs doing?
Currently the ignition advance cable has not been connected, which is something I'm VERY keen to have hooked up. I also suspect my map is running very rich as I loose over 25% economy when running on LPG rather than super unleaded.

As a car fanatic I'm interested in rolling road results comparing the two fuels and basically gettign the best performance possible from my car on gas.

So, if anyone can help... please drop me an email: richard@thefozreport.co.uk

Cheers,

Rich

Hi Rich,

I do not know of an LPG installer or anyone in Berkshire with a Rolling Road, however, I do know of a chap near Birmingham who has a 1200 BHP 4WD rolling road. He re-maps/chips many cars.

Let me know if you want more info.

Thanks Rocky, Birmingham is a 'tad' out of my way. We have several rolling roads around here, however, none of which seem to have highly experienced with LPG.

A few forum members have emailed me some local(ish) suggestions so I'll give them a ring tomorrow.

Thanks,

Rich

I work in Reading but am back in Birmingham for the weekends. Would be grateful if you can post the details of the Rolling Roads with LPG specialists (if you find they are any good) for future reference.

Thanks.
