As bove really, would appreciate advice as to what tank options are available and what the maximum capacities are.
I have earmarked one of these as the next car but ... as detailed in general chat concerns over local lpg availability mean that continuing to use LPG might only be possible if I can really rack up the tank capacity and reduce the number of top ups needed.

That should give me a better range than I get from the 50l (liquid) tank in the CR-v. How does that work with the air suspension pump which fits inside the spare wheel?
Regards, Paul.

The man in front of me at the LPG pump last week had a Range Rover with a 95 litre tank. I know this because I spent a good percentage of my lunchtime waiting for it to fill. I'd hate to have to fill that at one of those pumps that's particularly slow on a wet and windy day.

I've done motor homes with 3 x 230ltr tanks! You have to in a few times to pay as most pumps stop on 100lts

Me too mate.. Bitter sweet feeling when putting that much gas in! Bit like when you're at Tesco and the checkout girl says 'That's £250 please and you've saved £4.45 with our money saving offers'. I always say 'Funny, it feels more like I've spent £250 than like I've saved £4.45!'. In the case of LPG, spending that much on fuel, at least you know it would have cost you more like £500 on petrol so by choosing LPG you've saved more like £250 instead of £4.45...classicswede wrote:I've done motor homes with 3 x 230ltr tanks! Like most people who have LPG vehicles, I hate using any petrol... The biggest reason, of course, being that it costs twice as much to run on petrol. But I also hate running on petrol because it makes my engine oil get dirty very quickly! Changed my oil in May, done over 6K miles since, have run almost totally on LPG, engine oil still as yellow as the day it went in.
