No its Lloyds in Warminster. They have done all the work on my car so far as they are fairly local. They run an LSE with a canems ecu and one or two trick bits and seem very pleased with it.
The figures I'm being quoted are fairly hefty so who else on here would be able to fit (and supply ) the bits ...

What's a new front end system likely to cost fitted?
I'm tempted by a dual fuel ecu but it isn't cheap. It buys a lot of petrol but as I only have a very small petrol tank I'm rather committed to lpg.

I'm looking to have my engine rebuilt this summer and it makes sense to have the lpg system upgraded to some thing more effective and up to date. Its a 94 range rover LSE softdash so has cats and lambda sensors in the exhaust.
Currently its a romano single point system with stako underslung tanks ...

Just for future reference I managed to speak to Richard. They have scaled back on the LPG business and aren't really doing much now. They have moved to Cirencester too.
As time allows (with the current business) they may do some repairs/servicing but nothing concrete as yet.

Presumably they are happy on fuel injection as well as carbs?

Any idea what a stock 350 makes power wise and fuel consumption on petrol and lpg. I'm guessing not much over 10 on petrol!

Well I had another go today and it filled fine. I didn't feel I encountered any resistance yesterday when I check the valve but maybe it was enough to cause problems.
Only slightly confusing thing was that I could only get 50 litres in when if it was properly empty it would be 60l for the 80l tank ...

The black bit or the inner of the 2 brass rings?

Did you post on rangerovers.net about the bulkhead? I seem to remember it.
I worry when I see cars up for good money but with no evidence of bodywork.
I don't care how shiny it is if it hasn't been apart it will be rusty and not worth the money. I 've got lots of photos!

Thanks. Yes its a 94 LSE softdash and I've just spent a fortune having the bodywork tinworm eradicated (its got a bulkhead now!) so I don't need to be running it on expensive petrol.
The filler is on the towbar but it does have a cover and looks clean enough. I'll give it a poke as you suggest.

Seems odd things to be related?
I've never had an issues filling the tank, slow when its very cold.
I gave it some beans going up hill through some running water and there was enough of a pop to make me jump but the car ran well enough on the way home. Next journey telltale signs that the tank was ...

I see a number of these offered converted but how successful are they, especially the turbo ones?
the 4.5 v8 also have a lokasil coating issue (another chocolate porsche engine) so is that made an worse, or better perhaps by lpg?

See, you've made me look harder at the paperwork now. It is, as you say, Stako tanks and a Romano system. In my defence most of it is written in Polish though!

Anything like this is tricky to research properly as you need specialist knowledge and experience at which point you don't need the research!
I have lots of people coming in to me at work saying I want this or that. When you ask why its because the internet says so.
