well 2 new relays in and car running perfectly.who would of thought that after all this time it could be something so simple eh...still got there in the end.thanks for all the help guys.i wont feel so guilty when using the accelerator now lol...

well pjpj.looks like i finally found the cause of the problem.so i am happy and cheesed off all at the same time.swapped the 2 green relays over and the gas is now working perfectly.reason for being a bit cheesed off is that the mechanic that looked at car said he had been there done that.
of course ...

right fed up of this now.gas not working at all and no help from local professional.so being a bit gunho i decided to test the solenoid on the vapouriser.eg stick 2 wires in it straight from battery.what would u know.valve opens and car runs sweet as a nut.flick switch between petrol and gas several ...

can i just take an injector out and clean it then pop it back in?

my problem now is that the guy said he tested the solenoids and they were fine.also said he was getting gas all the way to injectors.said he thought the injectors were fine as why was it running great when the gas clicks on.
trouble is he also said there was no lpg codes and with a wee bit of wire ...

so you think i should get the guy to remove the injectors for a check.can they be cleaned or will i need a new set?
or can i do this myself.i can do the basics but dont like getting to complicated...

done the test.2 codes.first one is 12.second one more tricky.its number 32 which is not on the list you sent me.any ideas?.
32 only comes up if you run the car first then stick the wire in.

thanks for the pm.just to clarify,is it the diagnostic plug in the fuse box.do i just earth it to the battery or elsewhwere.

4 flashes at 1 second then 1 at half.
after about 30 secs continual flashing at half sec intervals.even when you leave it flashing it can still randomly switch to gas then the flashing stops..

it changes over sometimes.works great for 2 or 3 days then goes 2 or 3 days without working at all.the guy says the temp sensor fine.whats the 58x module??
i did the reset today.no difference.
there is no obvious reason why it switches on again.seems totally random.you just driving along and realise ...

he says he did.nothing there.i only have his word of course but i have no reason to doubt him..
i did read something about disconnecting the battery for ten mins to allow the system to re calibrate.do you think it would be worth trying??

so finally got the car to an lpg man today and he cant find anything wrong.checked and tested everything from tank to injectors and everything seems fine.apart from it not running gas.he says he will fone around some contacts down south and get back in touch.
good thing is that because he could not ...

i spoke to him on phone.quite happy to look at vectra.says he gets them from all over the east coast to fix.he talks a good game but thats the easy part eh!.would just be good to have someone say they been there and he was good if you know what i mean.
the guys in scotlandwell wont touch it.at least ...

i have found a guy in kirkcaldy.anderson motors i think its called.bottom of st claire street.
anyone got any experience of him??

it says in the book for my vectra that it needs 5-10 mins for the gauge to give an accurate reading.

being totally honest i have no idea of the service history of the car.never mind the lpg.no paperwork in car to say anything ever been done.i only bought the car 6 months ago and it was an impulse buy.saw it bought it.was fine to start with.occasionally cutting out or switching over to petrol but ...

think my o2 plate 1.8sxi needs a decent service.anyone recommend somone nearby..
