my problem now is that the guy said he tested the solenoids and they were fine.also said he was getting gas all the way to injectors.said he thought the injectors were fine as why was it running great when the gas clicks on.
trouble is he also said there was no lpg codes and with a wee bit of wire and some guidance from yourself i have just found one.
if it was an injector would it not still run albeit a bit rough.it really is as sweet as a nut when it clicks on.its not even trying to change.usually hear the solenoid at the tank but all is quiet just now.
my hunch would be a broken or exposed wire.cant see one yet but theres a lot to look at.
original misfire codes were cleared on monday and i did the pedal test tonight which was all clear but the gas has not been on at all yet.

can i just take an injector out and clean it then pop it back in?

You can if you like. It's not likely to make any difference to your problems at all. They're not easy to remove and refit, there's no way to strip for cleaning, the best that can be done is dunk in solvent for a couple of days.

right fed up of this now.gas not working at all and no help from local professional.so being a bit gunho i decided to test the solenoid on the vapouriser.eg stick 2 wires in it straight from battery.what would u know.valve opens and car runs sweet as a nut.flick switch between petrol and gas several times and it changes over every time.
now obviously i cant drive around wired in like that and said wires have been binned so back to petrol only again.question is does this mean a broken wire stopping power getting to solenoid or could there be a more complicated reason for it??

It could be the main switching relay in the fuse box under the bonnet or a broken wire or even the wrong relay fitted. Check both fuses are OK for the LPG system in this same box too.

well pjpj.looks like i finally found the cause of the problem.so i am happy and cheesed off all at the same time.swapped the 2 green relays over and the gas is now working perfectly.reason for being a bit cheesed off is that the mechanic that looked at car said he had been there done that.
of course as the 2 relays are identical i have to assume that 1 is not working properly but as i say,car running perfect.

Unfortunately, that happens, people mess about with those two relays and one is four pin and one five (Not always) and they get swapped around without being noticed.

They are sold everywhere, standard automotive relay, get the right voltage, amperage and number of pins. All the details are on or obvious on the relay.

Make sure you get the same physical dimensions or they might not fit in the box.

Note that there are 2 types of pin layout, type A and B

Type B is more common and the relays you have should have the internal layout printed or embossed on the case. Glad you're getting somewhere though, knowledge on these systems seems to be difficult to come by!

well 2 new relays in and car running perfectly.who would of thought that after all this time it could be something so simple eh...still got there in the end.thanks for all the help guys.i wont feel so guilty when using the accelerator now lol...
