Countrywide LPG How much is it?

There's no price information on the website, there's no price information on the pumps, there's no price information on the LPG Map (that I can see).

How are we supposed to make an informed decision on whether or not to join the scheme if we don't know what the price is?

And whether the price varies according to location?

How does it work? From my brief read you join and get a key (which costs £10 if you lose it). You fill up when you want and you get invoiced or Direct Debited the following month for what you have used. Is there any standing charge? Or any other charges?

hi there im with them i pay after tax 74 pence per litre they give you a key which you can use at any location 24 hrs a day then they bill you on the 15 of the month

I have a key for about a year I've never used, it will probably come in handy for the 24hr aspect, but the price has never seemed that competative to me.

Theres no other charge, you only get billed for what you put in. Really handed from a 24 hour access point of view but as pointed out not the cheapest.

well my local lpg site 2 miles away is 81.9 so driving 5 miles away to get it for 74 is very good for me only i have to pay monthly thats the bit i dread when the bill comes through lol

There is not really a fixed price for Countrywide LPG. Current prices (including VAT) as reported on this forum range from 63.6 to 74 pence per litre. It seems that the more LPG you use the cheaper you get it for. Also it helps to ask (very nicely) for a price reduction - they don't seem to drop their price automatically (well, they are in business after all!).

I joined last month at a charge of 66p a litre!...which is great, as have been paying 75p

66p + VAT = 79.2p are you sure that 66p is after VAT?

Hi All

Just got my first car on LPG last week, its a Vauxhall Insigna.
I have just opened an account with countrywide they are charging me 55p + Vat = 66p

I drive about 75.000 miles a year so looking forward to trying LPG
