Lpg Explosion!

#1 Post by 57jam89 »

Hi all, I heard a story from a neighbour(he works in insurance) about a bloke who works on lpg cars for a living.
Mr D went to work over the weekend on his own to a small unit which will take about 3-5 cars, he opening the unit up, switched on the lights and then drove a Volvo into the unit. After parking the Volvo he went round to the boot to do some work and as he opened the boot it went bang!
The explosion blow Mr D through a wall, destroyed the unit, the volvo and 2 other cars, next doors unit with 3 raceing cars, but Mr D is ok.

Whats your views on this?

Al Quieda ? IRA ? his girlfriends husband ? Petrol leak ?
I think it could be LPG related but it could be a number of other things - it is very easy to assume that it is LPG related which allows the gossiping classes to make fact out of speculation.

With the explosion having that much impact on the unit and next door I'm surprised Mr D survived ...

Your forgetting the bit that Mr D got a very big payout for his business going under and him being injured... although I doubt he would live through that so i'd say he wasn't in the building when the "accident" happened!

Are you sitting comfortably? Then I'll begin....

Sounds like a pile of steaming BS to me

An "explosion" like that would have done him more "damage" as he was along side the source  Assuming, of course, that it's even anywhere near true

Where and when was this explosion supposed to have occurred?

I think it would have made the news if it were true.
