Hi.
Had a OMLV kit fitted to our 4 cyl Voyager in may. All fine untill a few weeks ago. Now (with a full tank) it won't switch to LPG and if you manually switch it its bleeps and won't switch. Had it fitted in Birmingham which is 120 miles from Warminster so I don't really want to waste a day taking back.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance guys.
David.
OMLV bleeps and will not turn on to lpg
Re: OMLV bleeps and will not turn on to lpg
Sounds like your reducer (vapouriser) isn't getting any LPG through. There will be a solenoid on the tank and also one on or near the reducer in the engine bay. Ensure the wires to the solenoids are soundly connected and get someone to flick the system over to LPG and see if you can hear the solenoids click. Also see if the reducer is warm to the touch.DaveyD wrote:Hi.

If all that doesn't reveal any probs I'm sure you can find an LPG installer much close to Warminster (and not have to head to Birmingham to get this looked at). OMVL kits are quite widely used.

Although if it was only fitted in May, it will still be under warranty.

Re: OMLV bleeps and will not turn on to lpg
Thank you both for your reply.
I understand the warrantee but with a day off work and petrol (can we say the P word?) I thought if it could be fixed for 50 pounds it would be worth it.
Will report how I get on.
Kindest regards
David.

Re: OMLV bleeps and will not turn on to lpg
My omvl did the same not so long ago & it turned out to be the wire on the gas sensor on the end of the injector rail, worth a look!

Thanks for your advise, no loose wire.Fantrider wrote:My omvl did the same not so long ago & it turned out to be the wire on the gas sensor on the end of the injector rail, worth a look!
