Hello guys
I contacted an LPG installer to ask him for an instlation for LPG for my GS430 and hes replied with the following
Does he sound right ?
Hi,
I recommend one of our own 'kits'.
Most people view LPG 'kits' as a list of components made by a single manufacturer. In fact, in an LPG 'kit' each component is made by a different manufacturer. The name of the 'kit' points to only one component in the list of parts. For exactly the same part you can pay twice as much money just because that part has a certain brand-name sticker on it.
We prefer a different approach! We choose the best components - ECUs, injectors, pressure reducers, etc, which are equal to or better than the components that would come with a kit that was branded with a certain name. This ensures we supply and fit systems that are better than any system you could buy with a certain brand name 'off the shelf' and we could do it more cheaply.
For your Lexus I would advise a kit with an AEB based ECU, such as OMVL, Bigas, Tartarini, Zavolli, King. These ECUs are all exactly the same. King is a cheaper, so as they are all exactly the same we'd advise King. Injectors - Would advise MagicJet, Reg, OMVL. OMVL are just as good as the others listed, well proven, good performers and totally reliable so we'd fit OMVL injectors. Pressure reducers - A fairly powerful V8 like in your car needs a high power reducer. This limits you to reducers by Bigas, OMVL, MajicJet, KME gold. As you engine bay space is tight we'd advise MagicJet.
