Best Prices for LPG?

I have been through Stoke on Trent last week and filled up at the Flogas branch there and they are doing LPG at 42 pence per litre! My local Flogas depot is far higher than this and they won't explain why. Can anyone help or do they know any other supplier who is cheaper?

can anyone explain why Calor in Glasgow sell at 40ppl and Calor in Southampton sell at 58.7ppl! I certanlly would like to know!

We charge prices that are competitive in the local area.

We charge as much as we can get away with.

Why do you think Asda are the only National Supermarket chain that has a single national price for fuel. All the others have "Regional Pricing"

but 58.7ppl isnt competetive locally, the Calor depot even said it! He is saying his prices are mainly determined by Calor themselves.....

They supply my local shell garage who is charging at 50.9ppl, cheapest in the village. So why cant Calor charge that then?

Makes no sense to me...........bit like the latest budget lol!

You ain't gonna like this but...

...Calor Gas Barnsley are currently at 41.9ppl

Jet station 1 mile away is 43.9ppl and Morrisons 2 miles away are at 46.9ppl

Regional competetion ain't there is it?

In the case of Morrison's - greed of the operator is though.

Calor must be making one hell of a profit, as according to Petrolprices.com, they are cheapest in my area and for some distance.

i have never used calor in my local area and never will! only because of the price. I have a nice little tool hire shop round the corner at work that sell at 48.9ppl, hence i fill up there as often as i can!

Was in Birmingham last week and filled up at FloGas at 44.5ppl! Quite a difference!

If you travel the M6 through Birmingham, MMS gas, 1/2 mile off jct 12 is well worth a stop to fill up. Always one of the cheapest (41p a couple of weeks ago as when I was passing through).

As I hit Wales, the cheapest around was 58.9p - 50% higher!!!

That's like someone charging £1.50 per litre of petrol at present.

Morrisons at Catcliff were 47.9ppl last Thursday. Total at Darnall was 48.9ppl. Shell at Handsworth usually around the 50.9ppl mark. All Sheffield stations.

Manager told me he is now selling upwards of 3 tonnes (how many litres is that?!) of automotive LPG a week.

He is doing so because of their pricing 41.9ppl.

lpg weighs approx 0.5kg per litre, so around 6000 litres a week!

Filled up today at Birmingham Autogas for 40ppl

I did 171 miles since yesterday, cost me £11 for 27.5 ltrs

My local BP is 53.9ppl but the local "LPG Direct" depo where i normally fill up is 43.9ppl - only difference is BP is off the "mains" and LPG direct they fill a large tank from the lorries (and they fill your car for you

Its just pure greed....

But the why is petrol nearly £1 per liter when oil by the barrel is at an all time low?

Last excuse i heard was the exchange rate....basically i think its down to greed, wanting to make as much profil as possible and wanting to keep the shareholders happy

Although there is an element of pricing to 'whatever the traffic will bear' you have to keep in mind that oil is priced against The Almighty US$.
When the US$ was worth about 50p we were getting cheap fuel, but now it's pushing 80p we have to pay through the nose.

Cheap fuel? I've been driving for about 15yrs and dont remember "cheap" fuel

Besides there will ALWAYS be a reason to keep the fuel prices high, if its not the exchange rate or pay the MP's expenses or even help towards paying Gorden Browns debt for the country there will be another one in the pipe line

Flogas in Stoke (tel 01782 208686) 38.4p/litre I am told that if you open an account they will sell at that price any where in the country? Why pay more? Demand the lowest price.

ive just phoned flogas head office ..put through to two or theee departments ..

and that deal has never happend.

I was passing on information, perhaps it is phoney, but to bring you up to date the price in Stoke is 37.5p/litre. Also according to Flogars head office if you open an account at the Stoke site you can have the reduced price at any other depot.
