I'm interested to hear from people that have LPG'd performance cars, what your experiences have been and whether some systems are better than others.
Thinking along the lines of M3/M5's, V8 Beemers, Audi RS variants, 911's & XJR's.
Performance cars best suited to LPG?

Re: Performance cars best suited to LPG?
I've just converted my Monaro VXR( 400hp LS2 V8 ), see the topic I've started. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it works out. It's a BRC system I'm using.JezF wrote:I'm interested to hear from people that have LPG'd performance cars, what your experiences have been and whether some systems are better than others.

Wow, that's really exciting. If I didn't need an estate, I'd be well tempted by a VXR8. Having said that, I do have a fun car, Elise with a s/c Honda K20a.
One of my mates is dropping a brand new LS3 engine into his Cobra, he has a Jackson s/c and charge cooler going on too! Petrol through and through on his though.

Richard at Ullswater Road Garage (Penrith) rates OMVL's Dream reducer for high power applications.
He says it doesn't suffer from temperature drop during prolonged high gas demand periods like some other compact reducers.
URG have latest OMVL Dream system fitted to a Dodge RAM which they use as a towing mule. Using just a single reducer, it doesn't drop pressure even on long hills at full throttle.
This is an important consideration for high performance applications in order to prevent fuel starvation problems.
