#1 Post by gareth111278 »

Hi
I've just had a tom-tom for my birthday. :D I understand its possible to download all theLPG stations as POIs for it.
If anyone has a link to a site where i could get this i'd be very greatful.
Cheers Gareth :D

Thanks Simon,
I got mine from the site that also issue the little green atlas, Go-AutoGas i think, its really good. I've not used sat-nav much before but its handy how easy it is to find a fill up & each location comes up on the screen if you drive close to it so you can be oportunist and keep the tank topped up, with it i wouldn't have run out of LPG on my way to Dover last year!

thanks to all for your advice

Have just started playing about with LPG POIs for my Tomtom ..

tried the one from LPG map .. 99.9% sure that quite a lot listed no longer serve LPG .. one I know doesn't even serve petrol/diesel anymore ..

the Autogas download is just that .. autogas ..

so I guess the only option is the Go-Autogas site .. have got their book which seems OK ..

are they as good as they appear to claim to be .. what is the likelihood of a listed location being incorrect?

Many of the locations are out by a few hundred meters for some reason.

I've often got to the indicated point to find nothing .. but ask a passerby and you get .. yeah .. just round that corner .. now I did send in 4 or 5 corrections to go-autogas .. but upwards of 6 months later they still hadn't moved.

I'm very unsure if it is worth renewing my subscription next time, especailly as they now only appera do updates every 2-3 months.

HTH
