Engine management warning light

I have had my Toyota Previa 2001 converted to LPG and I am really pleased with the performance and the smooth change from LPG to petrol and back again etc. The tank, which is where the spare wheel was, is large enough to give me 210 miles approx. and I have started making savings on fuel. I'm getting better at finding autogas suppliers and have started to plan my journeys better. So everything is Ok and I reckon it was a good decision to make.
However I have one problem and that is the engine management light, which is continually on. I have no technical knowledge at all! Could somebody advise as to how serious this is. I have taken the car back to the garage twice and it is due back again next week. This may well sort it out but following their last two attempts the light came back on the following day and I'm not so confident that this may be the case again. The garage is fine but I can't keep taking the car back. Toyota are not interested.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
