Has anyone noticedhow slow Shell gas pumps are, getting slower and s l o w e r , until yo can count each ibndividual penn'orth? I've used 3 recently, and got bored with waiting!
My local BP though has a lovely quick pump, though long queues for the till.

I find that, shell pumps just get slower but dont actually cut out. Morrisons ones cut out too early tho

went to a shell garage the other day and stood at the pump for about 2 mins pressing the button with nothing happening.... went to the person in the shop and they said......... you've got to wait at least 5 minutes with the button pressed before it starts to work..... 5 mins!!!!!!! told him to do one and went elsewhere!!!!!!

was cheap though 52.9....

Shonky : dubious, underhanded. E.g. a shonky practice, shonky business etc.

Australian slang see http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html#S

I've had problems with shell too, theyt seem to be likely to be out of order , Toddington & Newport Pagnal. The one at Chester services also used to play up refusing to deliver.

Does ambient temperature effect delivery speed?
