I have read on here something about going to your local calor depot and filling up for cheap?
ie 40p and so on?
I live in birmingham and i have just had my car converted and my local garage is 56p?
So if i can get it for 40p i wouldnt mind! lol
Just want to know how or where i can find cheaper places in b'ham?
Advice please.
Help! Cheap lpg
Cheapest I can get it for around me is 51.5p at present. It's still less than half the cost of unleaded and around 40% of diesel which Dave K likes.
For trips around I've got a sat nav and have downloaded the free info off this site: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/
It gives loads of options to choose from depending where you are in the country and your sat nav will take you straight there. You can even choose your direction, eg if you're heading north east there will be somewhere on route, so no trawling the back streets unless you want to. Cheapest I found in West Brom recently was 54.9p, not Brum I know but you should be able to do as well.
Best wishes.

"I thought I was having fun!"
One problem with LPG pricing is very simple .. some places quote with VAT , some without.. depending on their market ...
eg .. "Countrywide Farmers" .. who were originally (and probably still have most customers) purely for the farmers market quote without VAT as business use can claim that back ..likes of me can't.
My local Calor always quotes without VAT.
My local Shell quotes wih VAT as they target "normal" motorists
I make a point of asking "with or without VAT" when comparing .. it's not difficult to add 17.5 % when required
