Best system for 4.6 Range Rover?

Hi again, i've decided to go for LPG Now it gets more complicated, i've heard of many types of conversions but i dont know one from the other. Are there any makes/models i should avoid or any which are very well suited to the these cars? Its a 1995 Range Rover 4.6 HSE with 47,000 miles, tank to go in spare wheel well i'm on the look out for more quotes, if anyone can recommend a company that would be great. south east preferably but i'll travel cheers, Grant

Fit an OMVL Dream 21N system, it'll be just fine. that's what I install and I've never had any issues with a P38. I'd charge you around £1800 fully installed, but that's no use to you as I'm in the north of Scotland!

I'm in with Brain on this one go OMVL. I'd be charing very similar to Brain but I'm in north Wales. Keith is a BRC man.

Cheers mate. I'm going to have a look at the work the installers have done in person and do some research to be safe. Cant let my baby have a dodgy installation! I'm in no rush- the customs & excise forms are not here yet so havent even MOT'd it yet. Its a slow process importing a car.

By the way, not sure whether to rip out the stereo (reluctant to do this) and put it over the side and have a spare wheel tank, just have a normal tank behind the seat (lose space) or put it over the side like this one- <img src="http://www.my90.co.uk/lpgforum/messages/898/2826.jpg" alt="">

You could always do what we did with our Discovery: a cylindrical tank on either side plus a round tank in place of the standard petrol tank. We had a small petrol tank fitted inside the wing. Cheers Gary

The problem with tring to put a cylinder tank in the back of the P38 is you would not be able to get to the spare wheel as you need to be able to open the hatch.

My P38A had the cylindrical tank in the back behind the seat but it was on an elevated frame which allowed the wheel well cover to be lifted and slide out. The frame bolted through the sides of the car (under the rear wing liners). I've since replaced it with a toroidal tank in the wheel well with the spare wheel on a swingaway wheel carrier. BTW, the pix above of the tank in a RR classic is from my website - it is the tank in my previous Rangie. Ron
