Using lpg out of a bottle

#1 Post by williams01 »

I am wondering how it is possible to pump lpg out of a cylinder and in to your tank
What kind of pump would I need and the best place to get one.
If you have experience to share love to hear it thanks

You have to stand the cylinder upside down so you get liquid out and not vapour, then use a pump to transfer to your tank. You can get the proper thing, https://lpgautosupplies.co.uk/shop/lpg- ... mp-240v/or make a manual one yourself http://www.diy-lpg.co.uk/articles/files ... ed-up.html
Some people have used a generic fuel injection petrol pump to do it but as the fuel runs inside the pump and lubricates it, I suspect it isn't going to last that long.
