Blos is great!
Hi, I thought I should introduce what I think is a relatively unusual set up. I run an 1983 Vw t25 camper with a mk3 golf agg engine, it has a Blos mixer inline before the intake. The only real adaptation to run is a timer to cut off the petrol injectors . Usually runs great, cheap & simple conversion.

Others will hold their hands up in horror, that's an injection engine isn't it? I've heard of fairly late injection Volvos running a BLOS. I've become a big fan of the BLOS. At one point I had two in series running in a Series Land-rover. I ran a thread on it here.

Fitted with a wideband O2 gauge, mine is shown to be very accurate. Always meant to put a AEB Leonardo or Galileo in with it, and I will at some point. Your engine is rather more sophisticated than my set-up hence I'd consider doing this. eBay 'used' Leonardo ECU go for pennies.
I've never had a blowback in the 20 odd K I've done since putting mine on, and if it did I've got nothing in the induction path to damage anyway. I've never even seen your engine to know better, thus you might ignore this point, or consider a blowback valve.
Our problem is that we're 20 years too late, this 'old skool' kit is getting hard to find!
I 'get' it though, for simplicity a BLOS is unbeatable.
