new car for conversion -E350???

My 2001 BMW 530i Touring is coming up 220K and will eventually need replacing.It has been faultless on gas for over 100K, converted by Tubbs 6 years ago. I was thinking about upgrading to a Merc E350 estate such as this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-MERCEDES ... Swj85YMv8z
Does it convert well? This one has the optional rear boot seats - does it affect the space for a tank in the spare wheel well? They also claim 292BHP, is that right, I thought that was only direct injection? Cheers
