OMVL Dream XXI general questions
I have the above installed on my Grand cherokee (done in 2009) with a 'Doughnut' tank.
Can someone tell me where I can get the filters from an how I go about changing them? The metal
Canister type one is viable but where is the other one?
Where might I get hold of the software to do/check general diagnostics / running perameters and where would I find info about tuning to correct settings etc?
Last of all, the LED guage always shows full. Not a prob really but an annoyance all the same.
Is there a sender unit or float that'll be stuck??
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thankyou

Are you sure it not an N or even C. A XXI system would be much older

From what I see on the ECU, it says dream OMVL XXI.....from what I can see. It is a multi point system.

Does the ECU have a vacuum pipe on it?
Or does it have 5/6/8 cylinder on the bottom of the sticker.
As to your filters the vapour one is simple enough, the liquid one should be on the vapouriser and it should be an MP version IF the system is 2009.

It has 5-6-8cyl on the sticker. The metal filter, if I take it off will the be any discharge at all or from either filters?

Re: OMVL Dream XXI general questions
Ok so it is an N system.
Removing the vapour filter will release some vapour.
Again when you open the liquid filter you will release some gas. It is best to open the input pipe first to release the gas pressure just in case the tank shut off is not working

I have the same system. I don't know your location but mine is booked in with Autogas2000 in Carlton Minniot (North Yorkshire) and they said that they have the filters in stock and the software available. I'm sure there will be many installers with the gear.

Re: OMVL Dream XXI general questions
I'm on Norfolk suffolk border. I'd like to change the filters myself as if I can do it I don't see why I should pay someone to do it. As far as software goes; I've seen stuff on eBay for OMVL but unsure of what settings should be. Like how do I know if its rich or lean etc. sometimes when flooring it it will cut back to fuel which seems like blocked filters or running too lean.....
Re: OMVL Dream XXI general questions
Fair enough on the filters. Personally I'd rather get an expert to set it up properly and then learn from his settings. But hey, up to you

Re: OMVL Dream XXI general questions
Yeah didn't think of that. But.......bit thin on the ground round here. I may just let them service it. I did get a price for a service on the system at £110. That's ok but there was a language barrier and questions I had were not understood.
Re: OMVL Dream XXI general questions
Cutting back to petrol at times of high demand will be caused by the gas pressure dropping which may well be down to clogged filters. You can get the cable and software from WTV (www.wtv-uk.co.uk or from their eBay shop) and check the settings. Best advice is to save the current configuration before doing anything then at least you can put it back as it was when you mess it up. Alternatively, you have Jaymic in Norfolk (http://autogasjaymic.com/contact/lpg-equipment.htm) who are Zavoli agents (importers?) which is very similar to the OMVL system, both using the AEB controller.
