I'm new to lpg and looking at installing it on my E39 530i. I have found these guys
http://www.autogaspol.co.uk/services/ca ... _cars.html it seems very cheap in comparison to others. What do you guys think of their lpg kits? Any opinions on the company?
Many Thanks

As with everything in this world, you get what you pay for. Get a cheap install done and if it doesn't cost you in actual money it will cost you in inconvenience and expense in taking it back to get it put right. You must have heard of the saying, buy cheap, buy twice?

As Gilbert says pay cheap pay twice. Here is a link to an E39 I did a little while ago... Also have a look on you tube for others. You decide

I have worked on 2 installation's recently done by autogas pol and my biggest advise is AVOID AVOID AVOID ! both car's required basic issue's fixing, on 1 conversion the feed pipe's were crushed by air intake, they customer service's are now terrible, there fitters are poor, there are some good polish installer's out there and some do convert in a day very well (genrally 2 fitter's 1 starts at the back 1 at the front and they meet in the middle) I know a few of the ex-staff from autogas-pol have now setup there own shop not to far away, I am not in anyway connected to them (I'm based in liverpool) I have just wiped my hand's of autogas-pol after there recent service to me

I felt i was pushing my services a bit hard, andy has said all that needed to be said on the subject, they are only down the road from me, it just made me look like i was punting for work

If people want to find me for a conversion. I'm easy to find. Maybe I don't want customers that are entirely guided by price. I get them all day anyway. Trying to screw an extra £150 off the quote. Which just de values the labour. Because the system price is constant give or take. And I feel I'm competitive at £1175 with UKLPGA registration and gas in the tank. Oh and don't forget the actual 24 month warranty and free servicing. See there I go again. Punting for business

i just recently had my car converted to lpg by tubbs, and i must say he does a very good job 100%
At first i wanted my car done cheaply, by various people. but after homework and carefull decisions i made the right choice
Like what people say on here, dont allways go for the cheapest, goto the proper guys and you will be very satisfied.
I live 75 miles away from his place, and was worth the travelling. Hope it makes it clear and good luck

I don't do cheap installations. Just the same as Tubbs, the conversions are based on good value rather than cutting corners to cut the price
