smell of gas?
hi again folks. just a quick one, is it normal to smell gas after running? say I just pulled up for 15 mins gone back out to th car and smelt gas? normal or not? cheers

You could try to see which end of the car it comes from to start with; could be the tank at back (will come out underneath somewhere) or under the bonnet.

well investigation time lol smells like under the bonnet. but spayed some water over th pipes to see if theres any leaks with no joy
pain in the ass lol

Use a water and fairy liquid mix (other brands of washing up liquid are available) and spray it onto every joint. You'll easily see bubbles if there are any leaks.

There can be internal leaks that spill gas into the manifold, the smell then wafts out the air intake. Difficult to re-start after a few minutes off?
