Vauxhall Injectors - Replacement Kit Available

Anyone who has tried to buy replacement injectors for the Necam Koltec factory fit systems on Vauxhalls will know they are no longer manufactured and all stocks have gone.

LPG Cars Ltd have been selling single replacements for several years. After a year of testing and development, we are now happy to announce that we have a kit available to replace the Teleflex 17ohm injectors with some compatible ones. Most after market LPG injectors are 2 or 3 ohm which causes the ECU to pass too much current through the driver chips and they fail after a short time. We have an injector flowrate calibration machine so each injector is tested for function and set to the correct flow to match the original injectors.

The kit comprises the 4 injectors, manifold fittings, harness connectors, filter and pipework.
It comes with full fitting instructions and should take about an hour to fit on most cars, some Astra 16v versions have the injectors under the manifold so will require an extra hour or so to fit.

We have run these on several test cars and are now happy that they are fully compatible.

The kit is priced at £295, p&p is £10 for UK mainland, other areas at additional cost. Prices subject to VAT at 20%.

The kit has a 12 month warranty.

It is NOT possible to change just one or two, you will have to fit the full kit.

Could you put some further details in the Installers section. These could be a usefull product for repairing the factory fit injectors.

That the injectors are available again is good news and interesting. Got to say well done to Lpg-cars.

But at £295 plus £10 p&p (£305 total), if I had a factory Vauxhall with broken injectors I would seriously consider replacing the whole front end with a new aftermarket system... Besides the injectors, what will break next on a factory system with worn out injectors? For a little more the customer could have the entire front end replaced with a system that has a warranty on every part.

Having said that, it may be worth it for installers to buy the kit containing 4 injectors. Replacing a single injector will 'fix' a vehicle with a broken single injector... but then again all 4 injectors should really be replaced together.
