Just a quick question as per the title really. Mate of mine has inherited a micromise system and is fitting it to his Omega. It's coming from a car of the same engine size and year (?) but I'd like to be able to have a look at it on the laptop and check it's running right

All help gratefully received. I think it's an AEB type system

I had a chap contact me last week looking for a quote. He had spoken to micromise and i dont think it is AEB based. Well from what he said anyhow. He also said any problems they didnt have any kind of UK network of installers. And they werent prepared to supply the software to him.
Maybe a bad thing. Doesnt seem easily accesible though.

Hmm... They used to be happy to supply DIY (complete with lead and software) as the 2nd hand kit my mate has got was DIY fitted a few years back. It's coming from an identical car so it may well work fine but, as we all know, it really needs checking over before he starts running around on LPG all the time.

Allegedly it doesn't have a "calibration" or map and just applies multipliers automatically

If he has already bought it you can always just install it and plug your scanner in and watch the fuel trims on live data. But i would be happier with the software and lead personally.

That's my issues... I'm much happier being able to use the proper software but could watch the trims on Live Data instead

I'm hoping that he'll be lucky (as it's from an identical car) and be pretty close

Be nice to see where the injector spuds where placed initially. If they used straws, through the plenm or did it properly. I suppose the reducer can only really go in one place. Can rig it up on your car first just to see if you have any hope ? I would like to know what the injector colours are too.

There's no way I'm disturbing mine

I think he's planning to have it fitted by now (not spoken to him over the weekend) and he's going to drive down to Essex from Stoke on LPG I have, however, warned him to keep and eye on both the Consumption figures on the on board computer (which should remain the same as they are when on petrol if it is correctly set up) and if the MIL comes on to switch to petrol for the journey
