What should I be paying for an LPG install on a 2001 BMW 540 4.4 v8?
Thanks

That varies dramatically with the manufacturer and quality of the installation.
I would suggest that you ensure the installer has done the same car/engine and try to speak to the customer to make sure all went well

I charge £1375 for a v8 conversion, just to give you an idea. Thats using a good quality italian system, torroidal or cylindrical tank. They convert well.

Do you remove the inlet manifold to drill it and how long does it take?
Thanks

Personally i do. But a lot of installers dont. If its plastic and you use the old hot screwdriver trick it doesnt really matter. But if its ally then its a must really. Its better to remove the manifold for injector placement too. But its not in any way a short cut. Personally i need the car for 4-5 days.

Lol, I'm sure they arent too bored lol.
It's very reassuring to know you do it properly, and at the same price of some who dont do the same as you!
