Hi,

Some of you may know that i did a lot to clean my install which was a real mess.

Please give me some criticism to help me make it perfect look.


I trashed the 2 vaporizers with 2 filters for a Genius max and one filter only.

Made some LPG rail brackets, made a mount for the vaporizer on the shock turret.

Lots of work on the wiring routing.

Some paint on the engine bits too.

sorry to burst your bubble but i think the original set up looks neater. The red covers are not to my taste either. this is only my opinion though

Not sure I like the red much either. Although I've got a single point mixer at the moment, I intend updating my P38 to a multipoint soon but have been looking at using injectors in banks of 2. That way I can mount to the front and rear plenum chamber mounting bolts so I will have two on either side, one at the front and one at the back. Then the injectors can stand up vertically and the pipes to each inlet will all be the same length. It will also avoid the engine looking untidy with the injectors not being the same on both sides.

Looks pretty clean under there though, although it looked pretty clean before you started if I'm honest.

The BRC injectors are quite large, and don't really allow for a very neat install TBH. Smaller injectors can be used on this engine without problems and they can be sat upright against the plenum as Gilbert says.
Trouble is you only had the BRC injectors to play with.
As I have said it is only an opinion and nothing personal, everyone has different tastes and opinions.

I had no bad comments from the LPG installer.
FYI in France it's forbidden to touch any LPG thing if you don't have certification.
