Hi just bought an LDV (2002) which has an LPG kit fitted. Now I say "kit" it was infact fitted from new according to documentation I have from LDV.
Was told it doesn't work due to pump but runs fine on petrol. Drove it home 250miles from Cornwall and it was fine.
Looked at the tank this morning to see how you fill it as the gauge in the cab indicated the tank is empty.

Empty alright!!!!! there is obviously something missing as there is a circular hole with boltholes around its periphery and I can stick my hand into the tank. what is missing?? anyone????

Sounds like someone has removed the complete valve plate (to which the pump is attached internally)

F1 Automotive have the pumps for the Icom tanks I beleive.01204 529529 Eddie is the chaps name.

Unfortunately if the whole gubbins from within the tank is missing then someone has possibly ripped out the internals with a view to repair the pump and then possibly given up and left everything out.
The setup that is missing is unique to that liquid injection system so the only fix would be to either buy another tank from the same vehicle and take the risk of that also having a faulty pump, or replace the tank for a standard tank but without an internal pump the existing system will only run for a few seconds so you would then need to change the front end system to a vapour kit rather than the liquid setup you have now.
