They have already declared LPG not to be as green as they once thought it and are removing the VED reductions bit by bit as well as the London congestion charge concessions.
Very few of the current cars on the road are actually on the Powershift register. It was set up when Powershift grants were avaialble and applied to certain models only. I think you will find that the lpg conversions discussed on this forum will be subject to full congestion charges from 2010 . You can not add current conversions to the Power Shift Reg. Shafted , hey ?
But then again, I no longer need to add to my vehicles mileage, driving out of my way in search of the LPG stuff. Must be doing at least 80 miles less per week .
thats a fair point mate but my point is that any one can find cheaper lpg local to them ,also if you plan your trip you may find stations on route , but i am saving 7 pence filling up at my local calor site , just got to look after the pennys.

Dave just cos you dont live near an LPG station, does'nt mean all of us are miles away from one!
Personally i have 1.5 miles to travel to get gas but i dont moan cos its still a darn sight cheaper than petrol!!!!
Preston (Lancashire) Calor Centre is still 49.9 and doesn't seem to change at all. Most places are still 54.9 to 57.9 even though petrol is now dropping quite a way and quite quickly - tonight it's 99.9
At this rate it'll be cheaper or at least as cheap to go back to petrol.
around 58 to 61p still in Sussex area. Looks like all Asda are now down to 49.9 but got the asda credit card so another 2p off fuel purchases. I do a few trips to Brimingham and South Wales with work and family so manage to mostly use Asda atm
95.9 unleaded in Dundee, 51.9 LPG.. my lpg car needs a bit of work to get through its MOT so since petrol has come down a fair way and gas isnt moving I cant justify the repairs at the mo and am running my other (petrol) car while its affordable
I think Total have just had an across the board price drop. Yesterday it was 56.9p at Total in Grantham and today it's 50.9p! They must have had a delivery!
