A bit more detail in case it is relevant. I just opening this thread and it opened despite having the red marker next to it. Having read and replied, I can go back to the General Discussion forum and the red marker has disappeared as you would expect, but clicking on Board Index (so it reloads the page), it still shows the orange blob for new posts even though there aren't any. I have to come back into the forum, hit mark topics read and then when I go back to the board index, the orange blob has gone.

I've just tried on both with the same result 502 bad gateway, I've installed opera so can see what is going on there

Just to let you know that I have been looking into this and have made a few configuration changes to the server which may (or may not) sort the 502 errors out.

I'm about to install a few system updates as well so again, there may be something in there that will resolve the issue.

With regards the read/unread issue I can't find anything much online but I'm still looking.

Have dropped Hitman2 a pm to let him know, will reply if he replies to me and can't post here
