Its a 2ohc , Electronic ignition with Knock sensor etc, carby.
I have had to cut short my efforts as i will be flying out of russia tomorrow. I tried to fix it because we may sell it while i am gone.
I looked and checked everywhere for a wire problem, but has not seemed to stop the problem. Its really bad when vehicle is at high operating temp. A new Brain box is 5000r which i would buy in a second if i knew it was the brain box.

Hi again cors , there must be some sort of ECU temp sender close to where the normal in cab sender would be , these are always going faulty on VW golfs and passats. If it is Faulty this would be telling the ECU the engine is not up to temp and still treat it as a cold engine then advance the ignition and throw in a lot more fuel to compensate , guessing that you are not going to get it fixed before tomorrow though !!!

It has 3 sensors for temp
1 is apart of the ECM. http://www.gaz3110.ru/sobol/13_27.htm
