More recent feedback from our car insurance scheme! -

'In my case my current insurance which is (Prestige Keep Moving Insurance/Complete Cover Group), where @Tim@Prestige is part of, came back with a better quote, based on the same underwriter (ERS) at £660 so I cancelled the (XXX) policy and go back to Prestige/ CCG. Is always worth looking around and ask the brokers to persevere the underwriters, specially when they offer different quotes to different brokers. Just over £400 saved this year! Just thought I would add my experience with these guys, I just bought a 2005 Honda CR-V with a gas conversion, I am 54, no points and over 10 years NCD. Called my Insurance (RAC) and they wanted to increase it from £18 a month to £68!! There was some fees of £75 and £25 so its not easy for me to say how much a year it was going to be. I Called Prestige and they have just quoted me £1000 ish so I will carry on searching for a sensible quote, if these prices are normal I wont be saving any money having LPG!

Just did the meerkat... £298 fully comp protected NCD.... AXA. Thank god!
Same company with Go Compare..... £261 man those Kats are expensive to keep. LOL

I've found that mustard.co.uk is usually even cheaper than the other comparison sites. 24 year old step-daughter, provisional licence, Nissan Micra, Go Compare, £3,100 if she had a tracker thingy fitted, Mustard came out at £800 with Hastings so even a company you've heard of!
