Your assuming they are all calibrated exactly the same. Within no tolerance whatsoever. It could be a few pascals either way and still be classed as acceptable tolerence as long as the rail is equal overall its not a problem. We calibrate the system which is where the fine tuning gets done. And then we tweak it after the initial base setting on our map. Using whatever feedback we have availiable from the engine, be it fuel trims, lambda etc.
So you have all these variables, its not just nozzle sizing. Thats a very small part of it really :D

Plus designs change, particularly where problems have emerged in-service ... different springs, rubber materials, turns in the coils; all will change performance

Anyroad its all a bit moot if you don't stock the same type anyway.

As far as i know, i read somewhere valtek says that they injectors are on the market so long, and they know what they do, that they guarantee repeatability of their products. and tolerance is 5% or 0.5% i am not sure on this. so i assumed all valtek injectors are the same what is good, and from my experience it looks like it is true

Big difference between 5% and .5% ? I would very much doubt .5% tolerence. Its manageable but not really practical from a production point of veiw. Especially in a 'multi component' build like an injector rail. You would have to cut the tolerences so fine per component to acheive it. The scrap bin would be overflowing. And the rails would be mega expensive. I come from a long line of precision engineers. The family buisiness used to have a lot of military contracts that demanded very close tolerences. I wouldnt say a chepo valtek rail demands that kind of engineering.

I've just been looking at the Valtek website and there is nothing much there, I'm sure teh old site had more on it.
Valtek must have changed things over the years to improve the product surly. I know years ago the type 30 injectors were dropping off like flies and them seem to be better now. That must have come about by updating and improving.

The 1ohm injectors have been a big problem for valtek. I can not see them continuing to sell a product with a massive waranty claim problem!

With the number of Valtek type 30's and the odd type 34's that I have had to replace they are not a product that I would want to fit or sell. i know some installers like the fact that they can be rebuilt but for me time wise it is better to fit a complete rail than mess about stripping them down.

Bottom line is you don't want to be changing a set of injectors without being able to check the calibration unless you have no choice.

A type 30 rail is about £30. I don't personally see why anyone would want to strip down and rebuild them. Once you take the repair kit and the labour into account its just not cost effective really.
As far as the 34's go, completely different animal. Reliable, very long legged, predictable and basically trouble free in my opinion. Thats what i want to see from an injector.
If someone put a set of magic jets, hana, matrix and 34's in front of me. I would pick the 34's every time...

All is true, better to go for proper injectors, then just for injectors coils.
please looks on our demonstrating video how to repair Valteks with repair kit.
we have big fun today while recording.we hope its professional:)
