C'mon then, don't keep it to yourself. People on here post of experiences with installers, good and bad. If you tell the full story, honestly and without embelishments or missing little relevant details out, then people can make their own choice. I've seen F1 recommended a number of times and, if you think the balance needs to be redressed, do it.
However, do be prepared to take criticism. It may be that what you consider to be poor service or whatever, others would find quite normal and understandable. I've no idea if F1 read or post on here, but we could get to hear the story both from the dissatisfied customers point of view and also the installers point of view.

its a little difficult to go public at the moment as there is an on going court case concerning the prins installation F1 carried out on my vehicle earlier this year. I have 2 industry reports on the lpg system, one from prins themselves and an COP11 Safety report. Both reports condemn the installation as unsafe, badly fitted, amateur and not conforming to Prins Standards for installation and equipment. I cant really say any more at this stage but anyone wishing to read the reports for themselves can email me and I'll gladly send them to you. Otherwise I will publish all details of the case soon as the court case is out of the way..... cheers

Re: F1 Automotive Bolton
Its dragged on now for two yrs. F1 keep coming up with excuses to have the case adjourned time and time again. We're now looking at a trial date set for the end of October 2012. So fingers crossed it'll go ahead this time. I've now wracked up £350 just in court fee's to date so it better go ahead soon. Good luck with your issues, you'll need it, dont waste your time complaining to Mike Chapman at LPGUK he's full of Sh!t and does nothing to help.

I've also used F1 and found them quite dishonest so will not be going back.
I do know a reasonable bit about cars, the bull they where telling my girlfriend (I heard it word for word) was ridiculous.

I went there for a quote for a system fitted to my land rover and they basically said they didn't want to fit it as my landy was a shed, which granted it is

strange how all your posts bang on about F1 automotive. A good installer wouldnt need to do this...
Re: F1 Automotive Bolton
Or at least suspected that you might. In the past F1 have had a number of recommendations but seem to have gone downhill recently. No matter how bad an installer can be, everyone must get it right sometimes so there always will be some satisfied customers.Dale_V wrote:As the other member said in another topic, you run F1 automotive
