what usb to serial device do you use for windows 7?

have a brand new device..and yet it still crashes on win7..impossible to use datalogger in king programme...this is with 2 new laptops..if i use old laptop with xp it works upto 4500(ish)rpm then crahes the laptop and king ecu!!

got any info on device that works with 7 and aeb ecu.s?(cos i am getting bored with buying shite that dont work..this device from tinley and wernt cheap)

First make sure you have the correct driver for windows 7, then I would look to see what is happening just before the crash at 4500. If the gas injectors are reaching there max 20-23m/sec then it is possible this will cause the system to crash the connection. Up the gas pressure and recalibrate, or increased nozzle size of the injectors may be needed. Make sure you have the correct type of injectors selected etc.
If its connecting at all then you would kinda say the driver is correct, so check the set up.
