Hello im looking into a conversion on my 2002 impreza turbo and was looking at fitting a kit myself in a word is this something that you would recomend im a maintainence engineer and am very methodical.If so what kits would you recomend my car has been remaped and decated not sure if this may make a differance?
If not can you recomend someone around the bedfordshire area as there seem to be lots about these days..also i have been advised to fit a valve lube kit any ideas how much per mile this adds to the cost?

Proper P.I.T.A if im honest, but ok once done, you need to remove the manifold to get the injector spuds in. Some of them dont adhere to the k line protocol and you plug your obd reader and it comes up in japaneese !
Also current not voltage based lambda sensors. Not a good idea for a first conversion. The flashlube usage is minimal. But you are right, they definately need one. Electronic multipoint variety ideally.
If you work out a litre every 5-7k and a litre is a tenner ? Its not really going to stack up in the calculation.

standard flashlube may not work as the manifold pressure goes positive on a turbo car. lambda's don't need to be connected, they don't do anything, they only monitor. done quite a few scooby turbo's, and they all run just fine. They do however have a habit of eating plugs and coil packs, even on petrol

OBD connection is also optional, if it is set up correctly it shouldn't reqiure it. it is handy but not essential.
